Framed T-Shirt Art in 5 Minutes

Once upon a time there was a shirt.

It was the cutest shirt this house had ever seen.

And there was a boy, equally as cute, who wore it till the sleeves were a little lot too short.

So when it came time to do something else with it, I just couldn't bare to say farewell.

Instead, I asked our little monkey if I should frame it.

Of course, he loved that idea….

Until he saw what I did to the shirt.

Oh, the tears…
The pleading...“Why did you do that mommy?”...
Oh, the pounding of feet.

To make a few Miner adjustments to the shirt...

Cut the graphic out big enough for the opening of the mat.

Use packing tape to hold it in place on the mat.

Put the back of the frame on and it's done.

And although there were tears shed for the loss of the shirt, the next week Monkey came up to me and said, "I really like that in a frame, Momma. Good job!"

And everyone, including the marshmallows, lived happily ever after.

And be prepared, your hubby might cry and kick and scream like my 5 year old if you cut up his t-shirts.
