Country Living Fair 2015 - Rhinebeck, NY {A Milk Glass Tale}
A couple weekends ago I had the opportunity to go to the Country Living Fair in Rhinebeck, NY with my friend, Carol.
What a glorious day it was!
The whole drive down, I knew just what I wanted....milk glass. I was bound and determined to hunt it down.
And wouldn't you know it after about the first tent of vendors I stumbled upon the most perfect nubby milk glass lamp! And it was only $15. And the owner of the shop was a doll.
But I couldn't buy the first thing I found.
So I said, "If it's here when I come back, it's meant to be." And I walked away.
Two more times throughout our day I found beautiful pieces of milk glass {a candy dish with lid for a mere $8 and a bowl with a soy candle inside}. Both times I walked away.
I didn't even hesitate to buy them. I think I have even worn these bracelets everyday since I got them!
it wasn't meant to be.
All of the pieces were sold. I even missed the milk glass lamp by about 30 seconds. It still haunts me.
I learned a valuable lesson too....sometimes even if it is the first item you see, if you love it....get it now! You won't regret it!
