How to Buy a Pez Dispenser

A couple weeks ago before the Adirondack air became crisp and cool we spent the day walking through a giant Garage Sale in the neighboring town.

It is miles and miles of vintage and antique happiness.

My husband loves it for the food...sausage, onions and peppers to be exact.

My oldest likes it for the hunt of a pile of Pokemon cards real cheap.

And my youngest, well, he never really knows what he wants until he finds it.

Twirl and Take a Bow

We are really shaking things up around here. Not only do we have new co-hosts and guest hosts, but we are also posting the links to your amazing projects in random order. It is kind of like going to never know where your dice will land! Sounds fun to me.

Enjoy the inspiration! Take it away, Leslie...

Twirl and Take A Bow...with New Co-hosts!

Welcome again to another edition of our linky party. We have a couple new co-hosts.  They are amazing! I am so excited that they are joining us!

Enjoy the inspiration!

My family is just returning from Fall Break! Do you guys have fall break in your school system like we do?

My family and I had a great time. I actually had to go to an Early Childhood Conference for 3 days and then we did a little traveling. We ended up going to Kentucky and stopped by Keeneland and the Woodford Reserve Bourbon distillery. Yes, we took the kids to the race tracks and a bourbon distillery for fall break. (who's shaking their heads?)

Surprisingly, both were very interesting and educational. We had a lot of fun learning about the culture of both the races and the bourbon and seeing the excitement and the passion people have for both.

Before we left for Fall Break we had our first ever family photos taken! Seriously, stop shaking your head! We've had plenty of non-professional family photos done but this is our first professional one. Take a look!

Hi everyone! My name is Laura LePage Tarlo and I'm the gal behind the "The Unique Nest". On my blog you'll find lots of home decor inspiration, as well as occasional recipes and seasonal ideas. I love taking on a DIY project and re-purposing decor and furnishings in my home. I'm also big on thrifty finds - so you're sure to find some bargains with me! In addition to my blog I run Laura Leigh Designs, LLC – an interior design and decor business in upstate NY. Twirl and Take a Bow Linky Party

My time as a Guest Host here at the Twirl & Take a Bow party is nearing the end, but before I depart, I have the honor & pleasure of selecting favorites from last week's party, and what a fun "job" it is! So many very creative people hang out at this party each week, so it was tough to choose.
As for things new over in these parts...
